The Beggining of a Beautiful Thing...

check it out...
ever since I was a little guy, I've wanted a Mustang. Never thought I'd really have one though. It was funny how it came along though....

Ive always just found a car I like at the dealership, slapped a dealer plate on it, and called it mine. Yes, I've been spoiled by never paying for a car...but never had a car I could call my own. With the new times of our amazing President Obama...we went through a little bit of a life altering change by loosing some of our dealership organizations and were forced to close our Orem Mitsubishi store and move it to Spanish Fork.

ummmmm....WAKE UP CALL JOSH!!!!!

What am I going to do without a demo car? ehhhhh i guess i'll just go buy a 1967 Mustang!! Pretty much how it happened. My brother Charlie bought his Mitsubishi Eclipse so I jumped on ksl and started lookin at old mustangs. Stumbled across one in Clinton, Utah. I didn't really think in my head that it was real and I was really going to just drive up and buy it. I still was just dreaming and wishing I could get one. Since we were on our way up to our family father's day Sunday celebration at my uncles house in Morgan, we decided to swing by the house and check out the mustang.

We stopped at a man named Tyler's house where the first thing I saw (pictured to the right) sitting in the garage was what would turn into the love of my life. We took the car down the road and it seemed to drive alright but would need a little bit of a tune up. My dad pried my hands from the car and wiped my drool off the window as we loaded back up into the car and told tyler we'd be in touch.

I texted Tyler 10 minutes later and began the negotiations for the car. Texts were exchanged, stories were given, and Jessica became mine!!! pending funding.

If you know me at all, you would know that I'm a little bit of an impulse buyer. If I like it, and I REALLY want it, I will do my best to make it happen. I liked, I wanted, I made it happen.
The following day (monday) Me and my boy Gilga got in the car, after getting to loan, and drove through hurricane-like winds and rain to beautiful Clinton Utah to complete the purchase. With cash in hand, Gilga and I exchanged the money for a beautiful 1967 Ford Mustang. Not only was the tank full of gas, but the ride home with my new love was full...of love and pure joy.
